Admission Requirements

Persons shall be eligible to be admitted to study for a Master of Commerce in Economics programme if they have:

✅ A Postgraduate Diploma in Economics from The University Fiji with a GPA of at least 3.0 in the PGDECO; or

✅ A qualification from another tertiary institute deemed by the Senate or Academic Committee to be equivalent to the requirements set out in (1) above; or

✅ A Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Economics with a GPA of 4.0 or above.

Number of Courses & Credit Point

The Master of Commerce in Economics (Coursework) programme consists of Postgraduate Diploma in Economics (120CP) plus four more Postgraduate Economics courses (120CP) amounting to a total of 240 credit points.
